Short courses

Summer & winter school

The EUR UNITEID Summer School, held every year in Toulouse, aims to strengthen interdisciplinarity, enhance participants' expertise and encourage interaction between students, researchers and professionals.

Each year, a theme is addressed through lectures, practical workshops and interdisciplinary group work.

For professionals

Continuing education

UNITEID trains doctors, pharmacists and veterinarians specialized in emerging infectious diseases, capable of providing clinical management, microbiological diagnosis and coordinating responses to health crises.

EUR UNITEID will be taking part in simulation exercises run by the Toulouse Institute for Health Simulation (itSimS) at the Toulouse University Hospital (CHU) for medical and paramedical teams dealing with highly contagious pathogens (BSL3/4), as the Toulouse University Hospital has been designated the regional reference health establishment for CBRN risk.

EUR UNITEID, in conjunction with its partner Eurobiomed, a competitiveness cluster in the south of France dedicated to Healthtech, will carry out a survey of companies' continuing training needs in the field of emerging infectious diseases. This survey will lead to the creation of a continuing education catalog. These training courses will be offered to company professionals during the sustainability phase of the EUR UNITEID project (2030), to enable them to acquire new skills applied to EIDs, for example in technology development, bioinformatics/big data analysis, artificial intelligence applications, or clinical research regulations.

A single health care system but several scientific disciplines to deal with emerging infections

Doctorate & thesis

The EUR UNITEID doctoral program is coordinated with the Masters program and involves two doctoral schools at the University of Toulouse: Biology, Health, Biotechnology (BSB) and Ecological, Veterinary, Agronomic and Bioengineering Sciences (SEVAB).
