The first edition of UNITEID’s International Interdisciplinary Summer Schoo will be held from August 24 to 28, 2026 at the Cité Internationale in Toulouse, on the theme of arboviroses.

Five guest scientists will be giving talks on epidemiology, microbiology, ecology and public health. Case studies and practical workshops will also be organized. 

The program will be available shortly and is organized as follows: 

 Introduction to the concept «One Health» and emerging diseases 

 Theme: Infections and insect vectors

  • Basic knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, ecology and public health.
  • Case studies of past and current pandemics.
  • Practical workshops: monitoring tools, modeling, diagnostics.

 Teaching methods :

  • Interactive lectures by researchers and experts.
  • Practical case studies and simulations.
  • Synthesis work by interdisciplinary groups.
  • Feedback from tutored projects.
