Master Biotechnology

Visit Master's degree in biotechnology aims to master the scientific and technical fundamentals of biochemistry, biotechnology and microbiology.

The knowledge and skills acquired will enable you to train managers to work in research or R&D departments in both the public and private sectors, and to prepare for a doctorate leading to recruitment as a researcher, teacher-researcher, engineer, etc. in the public sector, or for equivalent positions in the private sector.

The Master's program is also designed to prepare students for the competitive teaching exams (Certificat d'Aptitude au Professorat de l'Enseignement Technique - CAPET and Agrégation de biochimie-génie biologique).

This is a wide-ranging course covering, at molecular and supramolecular levels, the structures, mechanisms of action and evolution of living organisms, and our ability to intervene in their functioning under normal or pathological conditions.

The design of molecules intended for pharmacology or therapeutics and the development of innovative strategies in the field of biotechnologies is a powerful unifying theme for the courses offered in this specialization.

The aim of the Master's degree in Biotechnology is to master the scientific and technical fundamentals of biochemistry, biotechnology and microbiology.

MICROBIO

Microbiology

The route Microbiology aims to provide training in and through research, enabling a detailed understanding of the fundamental processes of microorganisms and their interactions with the environment. It also provides in-depth skills for the development and implementation of innovative methods for the study, identification and modification of microorganisms and complex microbial ecosystems. The teaching provided over the two years is designed to enable students to gradual orientation towards two complementary specialties , one more focused on knowledge of microorganisms (speciality Molecular Microbiology, MM) and the other more focused on the identification and use of microorganisms (speciality Biotechnology and Diagnostics of Microorganisms, BDM), enabling each individual to develop a career plan.

BSM2T

Biomolecular Sciences: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Targets

International program based on a solid training in structural and functional biochemistry. Students will be offered theoretical and technical training in most of the cutting-edge techniques in this field. Lectures are provided in English. This Master's degree will allow students to acquire a solid background in the understanding of living system molecular mechanisms, as well as strong skills in the techniques currently used to identify molecules and/or to study their structure, function and interactions.
