Master of Public Health
Visit Master of Public Health aims to train future public health professionals in various fields: management and administration of medical-social establishments, managerial practices and healthcare project management, and research in clinical epidemiology and public health.
The curriculum is designed to encourage the acquisition of cross-disciplinary skills in Master 1, such as project management, managerial practices, healthcare evaluation, healthcare systems organization, major public health issues and professional communication. These specific skills are further developed in Master 2.
On a local level, close links are forged with the UFR de Santé, the Faculté Sciences et Ingéniérie (FSI) and the École Doctorale Biologie Santé Biotechnologies (BSB) of Université Toulouse 3, as well as with paramedical training institutes, to ensure continuity and complementarity of training paths. The Master's program is the only one of its kind in the region to offer such a wide range of training courses in public health, covering research training, management and health coordination.
In addition, this specialization enables students enrolled in healthcare courses (Medicine, Odontology, Pharmacy, Maieutics), paramedical courses (Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Advanced Practice Nurses, etc.) and veterinary school courses to prepare, in parallel with their studies, a Master 1 special course.
The UNITEID University Diploma in Emerging Infectious Diseases is attached to a course in the Public Health Master's Degree:
EPIC
Clinical epidemiology
The Master's in Clinical Epidemiology (EPIC) takes place over two years. The course is designed to encourage the acquisition of cross-disciplinary skills in Master 1 (organization of healthcare systems, major public health issues, managerial practices, professional communication), alongside the acquisition of specific skills in biostatistics and clinical and epidemiological research methodology, skills which will be developed further in Master 2.
