Visit Master's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology<\/b><\/a> (BMC)<\/b> is aimed at students of biology, basic sciences and the health professions, raising their awareness of multi-scale studies of living mechanisms and their pathological disorders.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The BMC Master's degree is a two-year program based on fundamental research, with the aim of training future engineers, project and product managers, and biomedical data managers for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.<\/p>


The courses present several aspects of the functional organization of cells, tissues and animal organisms in relation to the analysis of genome structure and expression.<\/p>

The first year, <\/b>students will follow a common program, enabling them to acquire knowledge (use of biological models, functional organization of the cell and imaging, genome structure and expression, stem cell biology) and skills (practical skills, statistics, English and project management).\u00a0<\/p>

The second year <\/b>includes a theoretical training<\/b> organized into 5 specific courses (Immunophysiology, Immunopathophysiology, Virology, Host-Microorganism Interactions, Immuno-Oncology). The hands-on training<\/b> (semester 4, 30 ECTS) consists of a 5-month internship e<\/i>n research laboratory or company, validated by a written report and oral presentation at the end of the year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the first year, students follow a common program, acquiring knowledge (use of biological models, functional organization of the cell and imaging, genome structure and expression, stem cell biology) and skills (practical skills, statistics, English and project management).<\/p>

The second year begins with theoretical training, including 3 specific courses (Gene Therapy and Vectorology; Molecular Virology; Vaccinology), a professional training course and an English course. Practical training consists of a 6-month internship in a professional environment, validated by a written report and oral presentation at the end of the year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
